Privacy Policy

Overview

REDREC is an on-device audio recording and processing app by PixelBrick. It is designed to record, enhance, separate, transcribe, and organize audio while keeping your content on your device.

Information We Collect

REDREC does not require an account and does not intentionally collect personal information, recordings, transcripts, speaker labels, or audio processing results.

Microphone Access

REDREC requests microphone permission only so you can make recordings. Microphone access begins only when you choose to record and can be changed at any time in iOS Settings.

Audio and Transcript Data

Your original recordings, generated audio results, transcripts, edits, and speaker settings are stored locally in the app's storage on your device. REDREC does not operate a server that receives or processes this content.

On-Device Processing

REDREC includes the models required for its audio enhancement, separation, voice activity detection, transcription, and speaker-related features. These processes run on your device and do not require uploading your audio to an external processing service.

Sharing

Audio or transcript content leaves REDREC only when you choose to share, copy, export, back up, or otherwise transfer it using iOS features or another service. Content you share is governed by the privacy practices of the destination you select.

Analytics and Diagnostics

REDREC does not use third-party advertising trackers. Apple may provide diagnostics or crash information if you have enabled sharing analytics with developers in your device settings. This information is used only to improve stability and performance.

Data Retention and Deletion

You control your REDREC library. You can delete individual recordings and their generated results inside the app. Removing the app may also remove locally stored app data, subject to iOS backup and device behavior.

Children's Privacy

REDREC does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app does not require an account and does not intentionally transmit user recordings or transcripts to PixelBrick.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when REDREC changes or when required by law. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
