Information ODODOCK Uses
Location
With your permission, ODODOCK uses your device location while the app is in use to request local weather, a general place name, the default Trends country, and a map snapshot. The app may keep the last successful location locally so a Shortcut can continue to render the most recent setup when a fresh location is unavailable.
You can deny or revoke location access in iOS Settings. Features that depend on local conditions may then be unavailable or may use the last successful on-device result.
Photos and depth layers
Photos you select, adjusted backgrounds, and generated foreground depth layers are processed and stored on your device. ODODOCK does not upload these images to a PixelBrick account or server.
Weather
To provide current conditions, forecasts, and UV information, ODODOCK uses Apple Weather through WeatherKit. The coordinates needed for the forecast are sent to Apple when weather data is requested.
Trends and maps
If you enable Trends, ODODOCK requests public trending topics from Google Trends for the country you choose or the country inferred from your current location. If you enable the mini map, Apple MapKit creates a map image around the current location. Recent results may be cached locally to improve reliability.
Data Stored on Your Device
ODODOCK stores your day and night backgrounds, optional depth foregrounds, wallpaper item positions and styles, output resolution, language choice, cached weather history, recent trend results, and other preferences locally on your device. iOS may include app data in a device backup according to your system settings.
Shared Setup Files
When you export an ODODOCK setup file, it can contain the day and night source images, optional depth foregrounds, output resolution, and display settings needed to reproduce the layout. Saved location data is not included. Images are re-encoded for transfer so embedded photo metadata such as EXIF and GPS information is removed.
You choose where an exported file is saved or who receives it. Once shared, the recipient and selected service control that copy.
Feedback
If you choose “Send Feedback,” ODODOCK prepares a settings summary in JSON format and one rendered wallpaper image for attachment to an email. The iOS mail composer opens before anything is sent, so you can review, edit, cancel, or send the message yourself. Email is handled by your mail provider.
Accounts, Advertising, and Analytics
ODODOCK does not require an account and does not include third-party advertising trackers. Apple may provide crash reports or diagnostics if you have chosen to share analytics with developers in your device settings. Those reports are controlled by Apple and are used to improve stability.
Retention and Deletion
Local settings and cached data remain on your device until you change or reset them, remove related content, or uninstall the app. You can also manage location and photo permissions in iOS Settings. Data sent to external providers is handled under each provider’s retention policy.
Children’s Privacy
ODODOCK is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. The app does not require an account or profile.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as ODODOCK changes. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when an update is published.
