Droppp help

Use Droppp in three steps.

Keep your iOS device and sending device on the same Wi-Fi network, then send files through the local drop page.

1, 2, 3

From browser to iOS device.

Droppp works locally, so the setup stays short and predictable.

1

Open Droppp on your iOS device

Launch Droppp and turn on receiving. The app shows a local web address and a QR code for nearby devices.

2

Connect from the browser

On your computer or another device, enter the address shown in Droppp or scan the QR code while using the same Wi-Fi network.

3

Drop files and manage them

Choose or drag files into the browser page. Once received, files appear in Droppp where you can share or delete them.

Before sending

Make sure both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network. If the page does not open, check that receiving is still enabled in Droppp.

After receiving

Files remain inside Droppp until you share, delete, or remove the app. Nothing is uploaded to an external cloud service.

Extra tips for managing files in Droppp.

Select all files

When you select one or more files in the app, a bottom popup appears. Tap the selected item count in that popup to select every file in your file library.

Download from iOS device

When you open the local host address in a browser, you can also download files stored inside the Droppp app on your iOS device.

Drop files into Droppp

If you drag a file from another app and drop it onto the Droppp screen, that file is added to your Droppp file library.
